LOVE this Xins!!! So so sweet and as a certified Old Lady™️ I can confirm the nostalgia I felt reading this made me swoon! Oh to be seventeen again (praying I don’t turn into Zac Efron now I’ve said that…)
AHHH im so glad you liked this one georgia 🥹 for real though my degree was so high my lens were close to grandma glasses level … and YES seventeen was one of the best years of my life 😋 if the heart is young, you are young too (not tried or tested) 🤍
AHHH thank you so much for reading ☹️ i tried a new writing style, and im glad you loved it hehe 🤍 SOOOO grateful for you!!! a praise from the literary queen herself?!!@!!! LOVE YOU!! 🩵
awwies thank you so much ☹️ and you’re so real… my degree is so bad (it used to be worse but it got better recently) i can’t see facial expressions unless they’re up close 😭
I’ve always thought that if I were to learn a sixth language, it would be Chinese. I’m drawn to its diversity and depth - it feels like a “more philosophical” sibling of Japanese.
OOH!! go for it!! although i’d say that my knowledge of chinese helps to a certain extent when learning kanji (not for the pronunciation but the understanding of the sentence), i’m not sure how well it’ll go vice versa 😭 all the best hehe 🤍 but yes the kanji writing helps a little or a lot depending on whether you’re learning the traditional or simplified version of chinese :—) i learnt the simplified one so writing kanji is one of the challenges i’m facing right now LOL
RIGHT… it’s little moments like these that add up and balloon into something much bigger with time 🥹 thank you for reading!!! you’re so cool for understanding five languages — i’m learning my fourth and fifth now, and one of them just so happens to be japanese!!! :p

This feels like a blurry memory, yet it is so... poignant. Like those experiences that mark us but we don't know why.
